Captain Dr. Chacharin Lertyosbordin serves as an academic faculty member at the Military Education Office, National Defence Studies Institute.
In addition to his military responsibilities, he has demonstrated strong expertise in educational innovation, robotics programming, and youth development. As a coding and robotics instructor for Thailand’s Institute for the Promotion of Teaching Science and Technology (IPST), and also with MARA under the Ministry of Labour, he has trained students and professionals in automation technologies and robotics. Dr. Chacharin is the co‑founder and academic lead of the Innovedex project, promoting hands‑on learning through robotics competitions and innovation training. His work spans research, teaching, programming, and innovation, with a dedication to nurturing Thailand’s next generation of innovators.

Dr. Chacharin Lertyosbodin, widely known as distinguished expert in teaching of innovation developement, with a long-standing record of impactful contributions in these fields.

He became interested in robot programming during his early school years, supported by Teacher Phenkae Luehan at Naluang School (elementary level) and Teacher Nuchanart Pattarakietpong at Wat Ratchaoros School (secondary level).
He later pursued his higher education at the Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology,King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT). His academic advisor from bachelor’s to doctoral level was Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sorakrich Maneewan, and Prof. Dr. Kuntida Thamwipat supported him in receiving the prestigious Petchra Prajomklao Scholarship throughout his university studies.
He also gained international research and educational experience in the United States, under the guidance of Assoc. Prof. Matt Easter at the University of Missouri (MU), College of Education and Human Development. During his time in the U.S. in 2022, he also completed a training program on "Leadership & Innovation" at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).


Today, Dr. Chacharin Lertyosbordin continues to support the development of Thai youth through the Innovedex Project, which he founded. He is driven by a strong volunteer spirit and a deep desire to be part of the force that helps advance Thailand’s national development and global competitiveness.
